As I write this blog I know that it is only a matter of hours
until the weekend begins and I can enjoy some quality time with friends and family.
However, my own jubilance has given me cause to spend a moment reflecting on the lot of many throughout the rail industry who face a weekend of working hard, whilst their friends and family enjoy themselves.
So take a moment to remember the hard work which thousands of people will be carrying out, to ensure that the rest of us can get from A to B safely and conveniently.
They deserve our praise and respect.
