Go on, Johnson! Rallying volunteers to help stranded commuters during the Tube strikes next week is just the way to stick it to the unions.
It’s a pity that we can’t find volunteer staff to replace those who are striking throughout the period. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t be allowed to strike, they certainly should.
But I do think that services should continue so that the rest of us are not affected just because of their argument.
