Transport hubs seem to be the target of the latest terror threats after extra police were reportedly deployed at stations and airports in response to ‘intelligence chatter’.
The Government has stressed that the threat level has not been raised to ‘critical’, indicating an imminent terrorist incident, but said the “speculation” was a stark reminder of the threat faced from militant groups.
