Not long to go now, as the Spending Review is almost upon us.
Whatever comes today, everyone within the rail industry must remember just to keep on working as hard as possible, because that is the only way that things will ever improve.
Let us all hope that the government has used its head and not cut too deeply.
The rail jobs of thousands depend on that decision.
