There have been some very positive noises coming from the Transport Secretary around major projects such as the High Speed Rail network.
However, I am nervous about the future of other projects, such as Crossrail - which is vitally important to development of our capital city.
It is also vital that the rail industry is subjected to yet another reorganisation, such as the NHS is facing, because no-one wants another Railtrack.
Let’s hope George Osborne has made the right choices.
