Accusations directed towards Cheryl Gillan for selling her house in Amersham two months before the official announcement of HS2 are unfortunate.
The move, albeit suspiciously timed, should be a private matter, not a concern for the public or the media.
Her apparent change of opinion on the subject of HS2 (now that she no longer lives in its future vicinity) may be considered hypocritical, but the validity of her reasons for selling her home should not be measured by strangers.
