Wherever there are employee/employer relationships there will always be disagreements, but there is a lot which can be done to keep both sides happy.
For one employees need to realise that if they want to keep their rail jobs, they must become more productive.
In the same vein employers must also realise that there are limits to what each employee can achieve and if you begin to overload those with jobs in rail, then horrible things can happen.
Overworking people is never a good idea and generally leads either to costly mistakes being made or the loss of valued rail job workers to another, less abrasive employer.
