I was heartened to see that despite the strikes a large amount of tube services ran.
As I have said before, I am all for people being able to strike to make their point – I just don’t want passengers to pay the price for someone else’s argument.
At a time when we need to increasing productivity we need our rail services – and whilst the unions must support their members – people still have to be able to get to work.
Otherwise, they might take their car.
