I never thought the day would dawn (and neither did you, probably) when I would congratulate RMT dinosaur Bob Crow on a job well done.
But I salute him and the RMT for their part in helping Tube cleaners win their fight for a London Living Wage.
Tube cleaners do an important and often thankless job cleaning up our trains.
Who wants to travel to work surrounded by empty bottles, old newspapers, discarded food and the other detritus passengers think it is OK to leave behind on our trains?
So I take my hard hat off to the Tube cleaners, Bob Crow and the RMT for a job well done.
