Well, after an initial period of doubt, it now seems that the coalition government is preparing to press ahead with the high speed rail programme.
The government’s new plans look interesting, with the new Y-shape route providing many opportunities to deliver investment and growth to the communities which it will serve.
Let’s just hope that this momentum can be maintained…
This is an expensive project and so the public has to be completely on board for it to succeed.
