I feel very sorry for the London Underground ticket office staff who face losing their jobs, if ticket office opening hours are cut.
It is a shame that fewer people are using the ticket office facilities on offer, but this trend towards more atomisation in our lives is something which has been going on for years.
So why not just accept it and move on instead of weakening the Underground system further by destroying public confidence in its reliability?
