I was rather amused to hear about the row breaking out between the France and Germany over the use of German made trains on the Eurotunnel.
Apparently the French said that only French made trains could be used in the tunnel because of safety restrictions. However, since then, the Germans have had a successful safety test in the tunnel.
They are now planning to send across a train all the way across tomorrow – let’s see how it goes.
