Whilst I know it is hard to accept that fewer people will needed at underground stations in London, this is not a situation which has been crated by TfL management – it is by the public, who have voted with their feet to use Oyster, instead of continually buying tickets from the ticket offices.
This means that no amount of protesting is going to change the way people choose to pay for public transport – the only change it could make is to put people off from using the tube although.
That is in no one’s interest.
