What a sad indictment of the state of society that the footbridge at Guildford station is to close for two hours every night to protect passengers and staff from aggressive and abusive drunks who have missed the last train home.
If this sort of thing is happening in a supposedly prosperous area, I’m sure it’s being replicated all over the country every Friday and Saturday night.
