I was aghast to hear that the RMT is now actively leafleting commuters at Euston station about the ‘danger’ of using the underground system.
It is well known that the RMT have done enough damage to the public perception of rail after calling countless strikes and generally running amok but to actually be scaring off passengers at a rail station… whatever next? Tying damsels in distress to train tracks like some bad twenties silent movie?
Having said that, if it meant tying Bob Crow to the train tracks I might be interested. On second thoughts, however, the damage caused to the train would be unjustified, particularly in the current economic situation.
