It’s been announced that train fares will rise by an average of 6.2% in January 2011 but p assengers will have to wait for individual operators to announce fare rises on specific routes.
Let’s hope they act responsibly and don’t hike their prices too much. This will force passengers off the railways and will ultimately be bad for business.
