After a report released last week found that passenger numbers were dwindling, another has found that they are rising.
Either way, conditions at the moment mean that the amount of money being spent on rail (and therefore the number of rail jobs available) is dependent on both the economy and public perception.
Now that the economy would appear to be on the mend it is vitally important that every possible is done to maintain the public’s confidence in our rail system. The more confidence the public has, the more it uses rail and the more jobs in rail become available.
This means that individuals such as Monsieur Crow, whilst proclaiming to be helping the rail industry, could actually drive people away from rail.
Remember Bob, no rail industry, no membership fees. So why not have something good to say for a change?
