A Petersfield rail worker was knocked to the ground in the car park of Petersfield station on Tuesday afternoon. A 35-year-old local man arrested on suspicion of common assault was last night still in police custody.
Maybe it’s time for the rail companies to follow their Japanese counterparts and provide martial arts training for their staff.
If the thugs who travel on our railways knew rail workers had received training in kung fu. ju jitsu or even krav maga, they would think twice about carrying out these assaults.
