Apart from blatantly making money out of passengers, what possible good could fining passengers who alight trains at earlier stops do?
If anybody has an answer, please do let me know.
Because from where I’m sitting, it would seem that people who alight early only help to increase capacity on the train, so the train can accommodate more passengers. What’s not to like?
