There is bound to be some eyebrows raised over the news that the new boss at Tube Lines could potentially be giving
up his post, to enable him a move to National Express.
In what would seem a strange move, Dean Finch- who only joined Tube Lines in May –would replace Richard Bowker at National Express.
Now no-one could accuse Mr Finch of wanting an easy ride, but to leave his role so swiftly raises questions about the goings on at his current employer.
However Tube Lines have moved to reduce anymore boat rocking, by issuing a statement saying: “Dean has been with Tube Lines for six months and in that time has done a fantastic job steering the company through a critical time in the contract with London Underground and has
demonstrated great leadership.
“Tube Lines and its shareholders are keen to keep Dean as its Chief Executive and a decision by Dean is due to be made over the next week.”
Looks like their fingers will crossed for the next seven days.
