There was good rail job news today as Hitachi announced their plans to build a rolling stock factory in Britain.
There is only one catch; no deal has yet been signed and
until it does those rail jobs are in no way guaranteed.
This means that all of those who are hoping that Hitachi will come to Britain must do their up most to ensure that councils, politicians and Hitachi themselves feel the pressure to allow this factory to go ahead.
This means taking action for your rail jobs in the future; write to your MP and campaign if you need to.
It is the only way to get things done.
