Well our dear Boris is in trouble again; this time for being
seen to use the opening of the East London Overground line for his own political ends.
The funny thing is that those who are criticising him are probably only angry because they did not have a similarly headline friendly event to attend themselves.
When will politicians realise that we don’t particularly trust ANY of them, irrespective of their political persuasion?
Moving back to rail job news, it seems as if Network Rail has now begun the big push to cull around 500 rail jobs, in line with the ORR’s efficiency demands.
And, rather than the slash and burn cuts which the RMT were predicting it seems as if most have been lost through natural wastage and voluntary redundancy.
Well done, Mr Coucher.
