It was good news all round for those seeking green rail jobs yesterday as Network Rail awarded one of its first contracts towards the building of its national centre in Milton Keynes.
The new centre is set to be a flagship building in regards to sustainability and will also bring many rail jobs to the surrounding area.
In other green rail job news, a report by a council in Lincolnshire has found that a new rail freight hub, would not only be better for the environment, but would also bring around 4400 jobs with it.
Time to move those green plans forward possibly?
