Today’s blog is dedicated to the memories of Robert MacDonald & David Rodger, two rail contractors tragically killed whilst carrying out their work yesterday.
The rail industry owes a debt of gratitude to brave men like Robert and David, who risk their lives to maintain our rail infrastructure.
I hope that those managing rail contractors take the chance
to improve their safety practices as a result of these accidents and ask themselves how can they make our rail workers safer?
Let’s hope that these tragic deaths are not in vain and act as a catalyst to save others.
