It saddens me to read the constant press releases coming through from the RMT, who seem to find it amusing that as a result of their actions, serious damage is being caused to Britain’s rail infrastructure.
RMT General Secretary Bob Crow said: “RMT reps are telling us that the failure of the massive failure of the signalling system in South Wales is directly linked to a strike breaking operation which has brought managers in from all over England with just a few hours training to run these complex services. We said it was a disaster waiting to happen and it seems we have been proved right.”
If the RMT knew it was going to happen, why did they let it? Do they think that their argument over rail job pay and conditions is worth permanently damaging our rail infrastructure?
Wake up people; our country is in a mess and this is not helping matters.
